Soul on Soul with Phinesse featuring Mariah Hester

Mariah has been singing since the age of 5. Winning multiple talent shows and being invited to sing at church programs was the absolute highlight of her childhood! Born Mariah Dawn’e Hester in Shreveport, LA, she is the daughter of Gospel Music icon, Dr. Sonya D. Hester. Dr. Hester has always encouraged her only daughter to follow her heart, and to be a positive light in everything she does. “Mimi” (as she is called by family and friends) is also a NICU Nurse and a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. Mariah is very active around the state of Louisiana for her humanitarian efforts, and her Zeta melodies released each Founders Day have amassed hundreds of thousands of views and shares on multiple social media platforms.
